For health AI labs with a Proof of Concept or EIC Transition grant

Your prototype works in the lab. We make it work outside it.

Your grant asks for a working tool by a set date. We take your research code from TRL 4 to TRL 6 before your milestone.

Ask AI about VISO:

The problem

Research code stops where users start

Two months before the review, the postdoc who wrote it takes a job in industry.

It works in the author's hands

No architecture, no deployment, no tests anyone else can run.

Clinicians won't take another login

A pilot depends on fitting into the systems they already use.

The grant has a date

Hiring an engineering team takes longer than the milestone allows.

Where we start

A free 5-day code audit

Before you commit budget, we read your code and tell you what stands between it and a pilot.

What you get

  1. A written summary of the gaps, in order of what blocks a pilot first
  2. A rough plan for the work, mapped to your grant milestones
  3. A call to walk through it with the engineers who did the audit

Repo-to-Product Review · sample
  1. Blocks pilot

The model runs only from a notebook on one machine.

Next: package it as a service with a documented setup.

  2. Blocks pilot

Patient data is copied to a laptop for each run.

Next: one controlled data store with access by role.

  3. Fix before pilot

No tests around preprocessing, so a change can shift results unnoticed.

Next: tests on the steps that change outputs.

  4. Later

No link to the pilot site's existing systems.

Next: agree one integration point with the site.

How it works

How we work with labs

Each step ends with something you can show at your grant review.

  1. 01

    Discovery and budget

We agree scope, milestones and cost against your grant timeline.

You can showScope and budget mapped to the grant

  2. 02

    Build

Architecture, backend, web or mobile apps, and the AI around your model.

You can showA working system in staging

  3. 03

    Pilot

We run the pilot with your clinical partner and support it after launch.

You can showA pilot running with real users

VISO works as a technical subcontractor under your grant.

Scope

One team for the whole system

  • Web and mobile apps for clinicians and researchers
  • The AI layer around your model: serving, monitoring, interfaces

What we don't do

We don't make medical devices. We don't have an ISO 13485 / IEC 62304 track record today. If your product needs a certified device supplier, the audit will say so.

We don't replace your research. The model and the science stay yours. We build the system around them.

Health AI spinout, not a lab?

If your ML team is strong but cloud, data and security engineering are missing, we start the same way.

FAQ

Questions labs ask us

Who owns the code?

[TBC with Sergiy]

Do you need access to our repository for the audit?

[TBC with Sergiy]

What happens after the audit?

You keep the summary. If you go ahead, we start with discovery and a budget. If not, that's the end of it.

Can our grant pay a company outside the EU?

It depends on your grant's rules. We check this with you and your grants office before any work is agreed.

We already have a postdoc who codes. Why an outside team?

Your postdoc should keep doing research. We take on the engineering between a working prototype and a system others use.

Where is the team?

In Lviv, Ukraine. One hour ahead of Central Europe, two ahead of the UK.

Do you know MDR?

We build software, not medical devices. We don't have a 13485 / 62304 track record. The audit will show if you need a certified device supplier.

Milestone in 6–12 months? The audit takes 5 days.
